Everyone was extremely welcoming and accommodating and the day was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.
The course was in excellent condition and the weather definitely helped!

Dear John,
On behalf of the WAGGS from Windermere GC, I would like to thank you and Dean Wood GC for hosting our Away Day and looking after us so well. We have had such a wonderful and fun day. I hope we have not disrupted your club members’ playing schedule too much.
It is unheard off in all my years as a WAGG that we have had not a single complaint about something from someone! Quite the contrary, they were singing their praises all afternoon which is even rarer indeed. Everyone was definitely impressed by how deceptively challenging the course is particularly the back nine; most agreed that this is the course that needs to be played at least twice to get a better score.
Would you also kindly convey our thanks to the caterers and the bar staff for their attentive services.
Four of us including myself will be back next Thursday to have another crack of the course at the Senior Open. I think the weather is likewise going to be good.

Hi John,
Sorry it has taken me so long to mail you. We had a society day with you last Friday 19th June, and I just want to pass on my thanks to you and all the staff for how well you received us.
Everyone was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
A few of the lads had spent the previous week touring Scotland including playing the Old Course at St Andrew, and they were all agreed that your greens were the better. Many commented that your greens were the best they had played on in a long time.
Personally I found the course both interesting and challenging, and I will take the time to make the same comments on some of the golfing reviews sites. I will certainly be recommending Dean Wood to my friends, and I have no doubt we will be back to you in the future.

I approached Dean Wood Golf Club to host the first Beesley & Fildes customer golf event in eight years because Mark Stuthridge, the Head of Sales is a member of the club and felt confident to invite customers there. John Drabble at Dean Wood Golf Club helped me in every aspect of the planning process which resulted in a faultless golf event. One thing I particularly liked was the relaxed atmosphere and approach to the event; we enjoyed a delicious bbq and outdoor presentation. I found the experience enjoyable as did our customers who had nothing but admiration for the hospitality received, the condition of the golf course and the quality of food provided. I would recommend Dean Wood Golf Club to organisations who need to host a challenging golf event and entertain their customers in a beautiful, relaxed setting.

Hi John,
Just to let you know the Turton ladies went to Dean Wood yesterday. What a lovely day we had. We were welcomed by Beryl Murry who could not have been more helpful. The facilities and course were great as well. Now to the catering and staff. As a club you are incredibly lucky. The food was fantastic. All the ladies commented on how much they enjoyed it. Chris and the rest of the team are friendly and professional.
We had a great day. Thank you so much for your help in organising the day. It all went smoothly even without you!
